I've honestly given up hope on this community. The last time anything big happened was nearly three years ago, and that ended with its own drama. Face it, Blitz Sonic could barely hold its self up when it was first released. GDK beat it up to a pulp and Generations modding dug its grave. There was really never a big community for this ever since 2009-2010. Not to offend anyone cause I really don't want to, but things here are a bit too bland. I don't know how you can call this an active community when SonicRetro, the birthplace of BlitzSonic abandoned it and laugh at it to this very day. I mean, sure, I'll still make stuff for it but even then I 1.Never get the free time, and 2.don't have the motivation. Plus, believe it our not but there are people in my age that are much better than I am in the general 3D Sonic hacking community. They're already learning stuff like reverse engineering binary formats to creating plugins for 3d models. Then here we are playing around with fragmotion and Blitz 3d, a programming language based on BASIC, which is a programming language commonly taught to young children 8-12. Really, not to offend anyone but even the best on this forum are categorized as Newbs compared to the other parts of the Sonic hacking community. Heck, I'll say it, I'm a Newb. ~Not like I'd be any use here anyway and not that anyone cares. Just saying, once I release TEAM CLASSIC (which is basically done anyway) and maybe a stage, I think I'll be out. Also, hope I didn't offend anyone by what I just said by talking about the community like that. If so, I'm sorry

Were aren't dead, we just went zombie. I stoll do some big stuff, but I keep it on a low down. Plus, Blitz Basic has some amazing things that can make BlitzSonic look close enough to be as good as generations. Hacking doesn't is not in the category of coding blitzsonic since it's open source. Blitz Basic is very Old and only supports DX7. But i have some amazing tools that'll make it DX11 or DX10. Maybe even OpenGL. But there's a much better blitz out there. It's called BlitzMax. It's not very limited like Blitz3D. But i don't want convert all my code from "bb" to "bmx." GDK is amazing and much better than Blitz, hands down. I'd Switch to GDK anytime. And Blitz is not a child's language. I know some say it's hard to learn(which i doubt -__-), but it's easy and can be complicated at times. And no, you didn't offend anyone.

I'm bored to death with my LS5 Engine, but I still add stuff to it when I'm really bored.

Kinda funny you say this I was thinking this forum just died off myself (ok I thought it was a glitch w/the new proboards update).

GDK MAY HAVE beat it up to a pulp and Generations modding MAY HAVE dug its grave, but nothing's dropped it in the hole, and nothing has buried it yet. It still has alot of potential, and with the new mechanics of Lost World, I think it'll survive. It's just like the Sonic game community as a whole. Tons of people gave up on it, but it's still going strong, and starting to make a comeback. Don't give up hope just yet

Honestly I agree with you recently I have been working on a Sonic Lost World esque level pack but it's a little "hard" to make without parkour or planetary physics

The Documentation shows: gravity (Gravity Affector) Position, gravity radius / transitiontime / duration / tiltx / tilty / tiltz

I'm not giving up just yet. I wish I had more free time since now is the perfect time to release stuff. I'll try to get things sorted out and then I'll make a crap ton of stuff. Then finally I'll be able to make you guys something to enjoy. Although, even after my lack of free time there's lots of different things I want to try out.

Since I feel I have the right to say this I will. I hated Sonic GDK. It just doesn't feel right to me. Yeah, it may have "realzisticsz" physics and all, which are fantastic for them, but it just doesn't feel very "Sonic". It felt slow and boring to the point I didn't do much other than running around the test stage. Blitz is just something I like a lot. I'm used to it. It's something I can't really stop working for since I'm so used to it. It's nostalgia, if anything. Same with Generations. I personally didn't find it that appealing of a game. I played it, but I didn't really feel anything while playing it. The only stage I've played for Generations that made me feel excited at all was Emerald Coast. Hell, my favorite part of Generations was the Casino Nights DLC. I loved Unleashed and Colors gameplay styles, but Generations wasn't my cup of tea. Lost World was just interesting at the first trailer, but it's slowly dropping my interest as it's looking more like Sonic Colors 2, when we were promised a brand new Sonic game with brand new never-before-seen features.
Bring on the hate, I have opinions too guys.

No hate. Same here. Also, the main reason I'm here is probably nostalgia. This is the thing that got me into 3D work anyway. I can't really just walk away can I? Maybe I kinda feel I'm in debt and should make something big for you guys? I wasn't around the forum or community at the time but even then it's all of your guys cool stuff that made me want to learn.

Don't give up hope just yet Bro. it's 5 years old, It's built off of an extremely buggy rotational physics system, the coding language is frustratingly limited, and all the original modders have either deleted all their videos related to it and/or changed their name on YouTube to get a different kind of audience. You may be newer to the BlitzSonic community, and most people who are have a similar mindset as you. My advice would be to go and grab some coding experience from Unity. I made the mistake of "starting small" for way too long.
