Thanks for the advice Marble (LS5) . But Blitz3d wasn't a huge waste. You have skills you can carry over to any other language now. I tried learning Blitz 3D but thought I should focus more on animation and modeling but now I guess I should start with programming. C# seems nice. Not too complex but not too simple. And I heard it's similar to javascript, so if I ever wanted to learn that afterwards. Also, I heard it's a lot easier to learn the legendary C++ after learning C#.

C'mon guys, i think you're being a bit dramatic with all of these "i'll give up" "it's not the same anymore" "this is old" xD We all can still focus at improving our talents and stuff. It was fun to make stages for Blitz Sonic.Just because the engine is getting old, it doesn't mean we have to go all "OH MY GOD IT'S THE END , THIS COMMUNITY IS DEAD".Right now i'm still doing what i do better: modeling and drawing, destiny doesn't want me to learn how to program (BUT I WILL LEARN C# SOMEDAY) The thing is: They gave us Sonic GDK and Sonic Generations, we can do anything we want with them. Of course we can stop doing Sonic if we want, i did it some time ago, but i didn't stop modeling and animating. Also, i see there's alot of people moving to 3Ds Max and Maya, which is VERY GOOD. We should turn this forum in a place where you can contribute to Sonic Generations, GDK or any other engines or franchises that are not related to Sonic. I feel like posting some of the stuff i did here, but... it doesn't look like anyone here is interested on 3D stuff anymore.
I met cool people here, and i keep doing stuff, i am NOT dead. And i know some of you guys are doing stuff too, you just don't share it here, like me. Seeya xD

^ Yeah, that's what I mean. You can still learn stuff with Blitz when it comes to modeling and animation, problem is for people who also want to be coders, Blitz doesn't seem like the best option. Right now I think I'll recycle most of my scrapped 3D works and port them to Blitz just instead of not uploading anything Like my classic models for example since it's been forever since I modeled that and I've gotten way better and have nothing to do with them. I just don't share anything much. Coding is what I want to learn more now so I'd rather get used to the syntax of a far more popular language just so I'd get in the habit. I don't really have an intention in coding for blitz but I guess characters and stages, sure, I'll recycle those. That way I can at least be active here while getting modeling and animation experience and be getting good experience with C# and maybe C++ in the future. I plan on doing more than Sonic in the future obviously so I can't tie myself to Blitz 3D, but at least I can toss over my old junk in a zip file and share it around. About the new forum idea, I actually like that. You'd need to change the forum name and site though. It would be a lot more active then a Blitz only site. And considering GDK and Generations don't have a forum... Yeah. Maybe RXF, LS5, or someone else of high skill can start that forum and shut this one down. Then that forum would have a section tied to Blitz Sonic, GDK, and Generations. We'd be getting a much more active community with people of various skills.

Nah, I think this new forum should be handled by someone who's already been in charge of one. LS5 and RXF are the only people I can think of, and I kind a doubt any of them would do so. Anyone else, even myself, would end up making this thing burn to the ground Plus, I'm not smug enough to make myself admin with my level of experience.

Well I made it and if LS5 and/or RXF join it I give leadership to them.

We should just wait until we find a definite admin and a definite name. No offense or anything.

I appreciate that you're interested on the idea, Super Begs. But it's not like that. We would need publicity, people who have time to be admins and stuff. It was just a suggestion , looks like the right thing to do. But it's not that easy.

Basically what I'm doing is starting it out Im not making it a full thing yet I want the whole community to do it as well.

Yeah, the only reason this forum came through was: 1.Blitz Sonic was big at the time and there were lots of newbs hanging around. 2.RXF kind of lured in some new people with the Summer Project idea. 3.Blitz Sonic was terribly unorganized at the time and kinda needed its own community. Back then it was all Youtube and if you needed help, do it yourself, which is how I pretty much teach myself still. 4.Some well known Blitzer's decided to join the forum which got their fans into this too.
It's like, if you found a cure for cancer sitting in front of your desk. It exists, it's there, but nothing's gonna happen if no one knows about it.
