Yeah, the only reason this forum came through was: 1.Blitz Sonic was big at the time and there were lots of newbs hanging around. 2.RXF kind of lured in some new people with the Summer Project idea. 3.Blitz Sonic was terribly unorganized at the time and kinda needed its own community. Back then it was all Youtube and if you needed help, do it yourself, which is how I pretty much teach myself still. 4.Some well known Blitzer's decided to join the forum which got their fans into this too. It's like, if you found a cure for cancer sitting in front of your desk. It exists, it's there, but nothing's gonna happen if no one knows about it. That's exactly why it would have to be publicized. If RXF/Kid Cloak told the people of this forum that it was moving to the one WE (the community) created then without a doubt pretty much everyone would transfer.

I still do stuff for Blitz Sonic. Not as much as when it was new to me, but I still do stuff.

@super Begs: I disagree. Most people are staying on this forum on a whim. Plus, we wouldn't want the same amount of people to join, we''d want more. Who knows how longer this forum will last before it goes back to its "three weeks no post" state. That's why weed need more people. If something like this is gonna happen we'd probably need to depend on ourselves instead of RXF or LS5. The problem is, most people on this forum don't even have over 50 subscribers and most of those subscribers are reused per user. I say let's just ignore this idea until we really need it.

The thing is would get more people I didn't just make it a blitz sonic forum but a GDK one a generations one and even sa,sa2,sonic heroes I don't just want a tiny community I want a big one that if people from blitz wanted to check out GDK it's right there or if people from sadx wanted to check out blitz they can do exactly that which would expand the audiences if each game

GDK MAY HAVE beat it up to a pulp and Generations modding MAY HAVE dug its grave, but nothing's dropped it in the hole, and nothing has buried it yet. It still has alot of potential, and with the new mechanics of Lost World, I think it'll survive. It's just like the Sonic game community as a whole. Tons of people gave up on it, but it's still going strong, and starting to make a comeback. Don't give up hope just yet Bro. it's 5 years old, It's built off of an extremely buggy rotational physics system, the coding language is frustratingly limited, and all the original modders have either deleted all their videos related to it and/or changed their name on YouTube to get a different kind of audience. You may be newer to the BlitzSonic community, and most people who are have a similar mindset as you. My advice would be to go and grab some coding experience from Unity. I made the mistake of "starting small" for way too long. I've been around since the very beginning. I know the limitations of blitz 3d, and I am aware that it can be frustrating. But there are many content creators that continue to add things to the comunity, with new engines, characters, stages, etc. It's not dead yet, no matter if you've given up on it or not.

No it's almost dead. The best thing to move onto after this is unity anyway.

Well... That's your problem Blitz is horrible when compared to Unity. It's a lot more open ended.

Well... That's your problem Blitz is horrible when compared to Unity. It's a lot more open ended. It does look intriguing to say the least and unlike blitz 3d there's a free version of unity. Compare: unity3d.com/unity/licenses Plus even damizean made a new engine (the egg engine) in unity, and wow is it good, I played a test demo a few years back and it was near 1:1 with sonic generations classic sonic physics. Heck look at this tribute by neat wolf: This how sonic 4 should've been just have the homing attack as an extra, not a requirement, unfortunately I don't see Dimps or Sonic team doing this style with the parkour system in place.
