Just a few suggestion. On Tails, you should push back his bottom eyelids. And when I homing attack near the spring pad (3 together), I go in the middle. And add smoothing groups to the springs.

I don't get the point of adding smoothing groups to the springs, what will this change ? It will only make a tiny change in gameplay, but it will make the lighting blend over the object better instead of just per face. In fragmotion, open sonic and then (at the top), click the box with the circle in it, then the one to the left. That is the difference. The first is with smoothing groups, the second is without.

Samcross let me gave my rating about it. since its still a beta I wont give hard critiques on you. Movement: The normal movement overall is good, but therees a few bugs with climbing walls(Vannila blitz sonic) and with the boost, it doesnt activate mid-air.I just cant do the drift because...I F***ING HATE MOUSE AND KEYBOARD! ITS HORRIBLE!. Why the camera doesn't turn when he turns? I've put "targetpov=1"....The boost is hard to control. As you said the homing attack on springs is not recommended whatever it works perfectly on enemies and monitors. but I still prefer arrows homing, It looks "better" IMO(horrible bacause of the lag). 7/10 Items: There is the necessary enemies and item monitors thats great!The emerald is still useless... Rings and Lives monitors works right, checkpoints, are somewhat a bit glitchy I've passsed in one and it didn't checked the check(lol) IDK if it was a eventual glitch but you'd better get a look on this, but he appears at it without any problem. When you get in a hoop and press the B action he goes to a skydive instance but I can't still dive. Are you planing on this or its a wrong parameter?--Trick Hoop--= A,B,A,B, FLYYY . IDK maybe you could code a sequence it would be better IMO, but its good as is. 8,5/10 Graphics:...nope. this one depends on the level. but the items itself are lowpoly :/(eggrobo). Samcross and Axiumghost(if you are here) Would you mind if I send a fixed jumpball for you guys? I even told Ax how to do in a comment but looks like he messed it up. Plus I'll correct the FX over sonic beause you guys are using only one over the whole sonic(except gloves and shoes) 9/10 And for teh lulz and an advice: Never, NEVER TOUCH THE DAMN GOAL RING OR CINOS WILL COME TO KILL YA!(The engine reloads the stage over the same and the loaded before is still there. You MUST fix this. But I Laughed so hard XD I think thats it. after all that whole things still a good engine but you almost fly boosting and tirck hooping overall=8/10

I didnt notice he take every single detail on the model. I just changed to my texture and completed FX'ing it. The Jump Ball I'll re-add later Im lazy now... just a note the camera just turns(with the targetpov) when I press downright or downleft. Good luck on coding it !

The surprise is wisp power but it still very WIP Ive noticed this too but flying with tails? I didnt know and he was static when I "summoned" him Did you pressed F5 to summon him ? If so it's logic. You must go near from him and press actionD
