Okay, so I have come to figure out that the Blitzsonic community is sort of...idle...as far as producing new things is concerned. I believe that we need to work with a new engine, one that isn't so limited as blitz. Something that isn't as complicated as GDK though...something everyone can use. I've actually been doing some research on some 3D engines that could be used. I haven't found one yet, but I think I'm getting close. Point is that I would like to put together a team of people to fire up the spark that once was Blitzsonic, but into a different, more powerful engine. (This post probably doesn't belong here, so put it wherever it belongs )

If you want something in between the two, you won't find it. Notice that most of the Sonic modding scene people are people who don't actually make anything. You won't find many 3D sonic engines.

I'm not talking about a specific Sonic engine, just a 3D engine period. Something we can use to create a 3D Sonic game. Like how Sega uses the Havok engine for their Sonic games.

By Idle he means we're not doing anything productive, as in working on projects and stuff.

I think he has a good point, really. I'm still working on BlitzSonic Heroes with Ozan, and it's made me realise how much I hate fragMOTION.
SUGGESTION Unity's a good one, and it directly links with Autodesk's FBX format, so animating can be done in Max. Plus, you can make some good quality games in Unity.

I go on the forums a few times a day, in fact I usually keep a tab opened of the site all day and refresh every other hour or something.
I've been busy with working on stuff for Killing Floor (Since they recently made Steam Workshop for it) plus I have school and stuff and have homework regularly (i.e. daily)
Unity is awesome.

Unity is a great choice. If you need any minor assistance, don't be afraid to message me at any time.

I might just go with the majority vote here and say Unity.
