Anyone want to explain to me how this stuff works? Like I guess does someone have to host one and wait for people to join their IP or is there like some kind of dedicated server always running...

You can do either. There is a dedicated server program in the folder, and you can host and play at the same time if you'd like. Once I get my old computer booting up, I might use it as a permanent server for stuff, including this.

The dedicated server just sits there waiting for players. lol I figured I was doing something wrong.
