Well,I am trying to get a low-cost laptop over 12 inches that can transform to a Tablet PC. I am looking at the HP Compaq TC4400 but i'm not sure.

Why are you looking for a Tablet PC?

I have no knowledge of laptops. They seem to always have flaws in performance.

I would imagine a decent one would cost around $800, while still being careful as to what the specs are.

Great laptops for gaming can range from $500 to $1500 I'd have to ask my brother how much his cost since he has a good one.

You aren't going to find a great laptop for gaming for $500. Hell, I can't even find one for €500 (which is $667) here. You can get one which plays games a bit (As in, has a dedicated GPU), but at mid-low settings (depending on the screen resolution/game, of course). Anywho, in reply to the OP; Well,I am trying to get a low-cost laptop over 12 inches that can transform to a Tablet PC. I am looking at the HP Compaq TC4400 but i'm not sure. Low cost -> No gaming Over 12" is standard for any decent laptop Tablot PC -> probably no gaming, as it will get a lot more expensive than a normal laptop with the same performance Also don't expect to do any gaming (besides minesweeper) on that laptop, as it's an old slow dual core (Intel Core Duo or Intel Core 2 Duo 1.83 GHz - 2.16 GHz according to Wikipedia) without a dedicated GPU.

If worst comes to worst and you cant find one, just build your own. It's not that hard, and you can have emphasis on the things you're going to do on it. My uncle did that, and his computer is a boss.(remember google is your friend)

I believe he wants a laptop, which you can't build yourself (or atleast, I have no clue how). If you get a desktop, build it yourself, saves lots of money.
