I know that you can open it with .brres viewer but the problem is i want to export the models with the groups working. idk if there is a md5 importer that does work, so i export it as .psk. If i import it in milkshape and then to and other format, the groups have the texture groups but not the original ones. If i import it with 3ds max, with the actorX plugin, it looks good but when i export it as .fbx , it has the groupings but they aren't working and there is only one that has the filename. My question is, is it possible to export it somehow to import it in fragmotion with working groups and skeleton ?

Import into 3DS Max, Edit Poly, Select Element, group them like that.

That is different. In Edit Mesh or Edit Poly subobject mode for a mesh, use the "Attach" button and click on another mesh. These will join together. Remember to weld them together.
I don't know why I was thinking of this, just use the group dropdown menu.

OR, export as .psk, import into Milkshape, add the textures, and export as .ms3d. Make sure you have the latest version so that it will export with groups.

Oh well. What are you trying to export anyways? And it is material groups which is usually the normal groups, but oh well. But yeah, what are you trying to export that requires groups?

ok so here is the problem again. if you go to edit poly and click on element, then you can select things that you can't select in fragmotion
