The point is, either Dimps got lazy, or were getting the sonic 4 fanboys again.... also, your idea... when theres a homing attack, whether you want to use it or not... YOU JUST DO...... seriously, look at sonic 4.... and blitzsonic ultra or any engine tht uses a classic model....

There are customizable skills in the Console versions. So having homing attack for Classic isn't an impossibility.
