Coding is a little too complex to just explain in a post, but animating I can gladly help you with. -Get fragmotion -Get rigged model -Right click in the animations pane and make a new animation -Go to skeletal animation -hold b and click a bone to select it -click rotate or some other tool -there you go.

It depends on what type of animation it is, how good you are at using fragmotion, and hwo much work you put into it.

how long will one animation take? Oh my god, if you're going to ask this, then you're not totally dedicated to it. I recommend not asking questions but actually trying the program out, saving some backups of things you like and just do it until you're impressed with the results. But the answer to your question is that If one is just starting out, then it would probably take about 30 minutes if you know how things move and the axes and up to 1-2 hours if you don't know what the hell you're doing, can't say anything about how the product will turn out though. Good, full animations could take upward of days to months [With life interfering]. Example:

Ditto, and apply for the Student version, you get it for 3 years for "personal learning use". 3DS-ing like a boss.
