Nothing I can really say other than browse their tutorials and learn how to use the engine itself. Can't help you with specifics because I'm trying to muster up what free time I can in learning Unreal Engine 4 and other stuff. It's one of those things that you really don't make a step by step guide for.

I looked at the tutorials. They teach me barely anything, if not, nothing entirely. I googled sonic character controller unity 5, and all i saw were some amazing ones, but they didn't teach you how to make the controller. There's one character controller but its like $65.

Sorry, but unless you learn how to do it yourself, even if you find a character controller you'll still have lots of questions. From what I understand most people who use Unity 5 came from Unity 4 knowing already how to use it. As such, there aren't many Unity 5 tutorials. As for Unreal Engine 4, they have an official giant playlist teaching you from baby to man how to use the engine, although a few bits here and there changed with updates: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMsFxzYzFJ8&list=PLZlv_N0_O1gaCL2XjKluO7N2Pmmw9pvhEYou're better off PMing someone that's actually familiar with Unity like Gistix or 06hypersonic60 on a good place to start. I haven't really looked into Unity tutorials much.

Gistix probably would ignore me, but its worth the try. Thank you for the suggestion.
