You named it menu.mp3 right? If so I don't know what to tell you, every blitz sonic engine is picky on which mp3 files work, I tried to extend a track in audacity, but it wouldn't play in a level, try finding the track on youtube, use listentoyoutube.com to download it, then use audacity (or whatever audio editing program you use) get rid of the unwanted parts and it should work. It might have to do with a length limit or having the mp3/wav file at a certain bitrate.

usually as long as it's the same file type with the same name it should work fine unless it's a bit thing.

that's odd i had just grabbed a random mp3, named it Menu then placed it in the [Music]folder which overwrote the old one and it worked fine. the bitrate of my mp3 was 128kbps where as the default menu music's was 320kbps. so it's certainly not that. thus what ever it is your doing......

Wait try extending the mp3 and see what happens, because if I try to extend (or sometimes cut a part from) the mp3 it won't play. For example I tried to make it so that the windy hill track loops correctly, but nothing happens.

it's certainly not a matter of track length, mine was 4 mins.
