I rarely see video responses myself, true it sucks, but vital not by any means, you can post part of the link "/watch/88789" like this (it's a fake link don't try it).

Well, apparently once they disable responses you can post full links for videos.

^That's the problem. There's no piece of "old youtube" left anymore. They keep on changing things around and they couldn't care less about what the users want. They know you have no other option. What're you gonna do? Move to Vimeo? lol, no.

YouTube doing things like this is part of why I don't like it anymore. To me, it's personally not vital. But it's THERE at least. Remember when we could watch a video ON someone's channel and still be browsing their channel? Apparently, YouTube didn't think that was vital either. To me, them doing that was one of the biggest mistakes Google has ever made with YouTube. And they continue to drop. :L

Move to Vimeo? lol, no. i know and I miss the old YouTube aswell the one thing I miss the most is the channel creation you can go so in depth and it's what made your channel exactly that YOUR channel but the reason google keeps on changing things and breaking things is because if they didn't they would be out of a job they thrive on this and this is the only thing paying them.

And they continue to drop. :L Actually they did that so the pages load faster (or at least I noticed that) although some things like comments and notifications from my subscriptions take alot longer to load. As for the customization I joined youtube when we had the bars on the side, so I kinda didn't really care.

Customization now is just your user picture and Facebook's cover photo feature. I love seeing white bars all over the place that tell me about the person I'm subscribed too.
