Looking for a laptop?

Hey, I'm in the market for a good laptop, my budget is $700-$1000

I'm currently looking at a couple, I want it to be able to run most games at high-mid settings

Dude, just get a desktop in that range :V
Laptops are a bit more costly cause of the screen. Save that money to get better hardware. I just got a middle class computer and upgraded the crap out of it I can play Sonic Generations in 3D 60fps

Better than the console version's 3D but still somewhat gimmicky.

Yes because I totally have that option right? Yeah. No I don't. Laptops are more efficient for me and I don't really have the option right now for personal reasons.

My father has an ASUS laptop that has pretty good specs. I'm not really sure when it comes to laptops.
