How can you do this without needing to mear guesses and checks with the xml file? Like is the a program that can make object placement easier?

It's not in any distributed version, but you would press COMMA for position and PERIOD for rotation. To enable the Debug Menu, press Right CTRL. This also enables Float. I'm trying to think of a proper penalty for using this in gameplay.

Will it be the same on UK keyboards? I know a few keys are in a different place and work differently compared to US keyboards. For example, the endless jump key is ';' whereas it's different in the US, IIRC. (Last time I was told how to do it, I think I was told a different key anyway.)

The easiest way is to use the ObjectExport tool in the _Tools folder. It only works if you have access to the original model so that you can place your rings/monitors/springs precisely where they need to go. You would then export only your rings as a b3d, and tell the tool that they are to be converted into rings. I've provided 2 other options in BlitzSonic Freerunner. One works exactly the same way as the ObjectExport tool, except there is no xml involved; it just loads the model containing only rings/springs/monitors and converts the locations when the stage loads. The other option is to use the Maxscript I made for 3DS Max which will make an xml containing the objects you've selected within the editor. I might improve this later on so that you can just plop a modifier on, and specify what the object is using a rollout. I think LS5's method is pretty nice too. My methods require that you have the stage model for accurate object placement. LS5's enables you to place objects after the fact, which is great if you forgot to put something in! I should have added something like that to Freerunner. Perhaps in a later build.

I think I will add some keys to the Config.xml, since a lot of keyboard are different to the UK keyboard. Also, should I make a thread for my mod? I don't think it would be a good idea, and it would get pretty boring for people to discuss it, but I don't know how others would feel about it, give me your opinionssss.
