adventures of sonic the hedgehog is the best. As a kid, my moms got alot of the cassette tapes and I still have them.

All Wrong! The first time I saw Sonic on TV was... Wait yeah, Adventures. I always rented VHS at JC Flicks.
The second time was Saturday Cartoon.
The third time was in a McDonald's Commercial. "IMPRESSIVE, ISN'T IT!"
I forget what model was used, I remember vaguely it looked like the CG SA2 model.

First time I saw Sonic WAS on a TV, but not a commercial/TV show.

It's a shame how some people saw Sonic X first as their first cartoon, 4Kids butchered it much like how they did with every other cartoon/anime. I'm just glad I watched the Japanese version first before I found out 4kids was airing it, when I watched an episode on a Saturday morning, I hated it, 4kids obviously didn't know what they were doing.
But Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog was the first cartoon of Sonic I watched.
About 6 or 7 years ago my father bought me the complete VHS set of every episode for Christmas
