I feel sorry for the massive amount of people who had Heroes as their first game...

I was introduced to Sonic via a hand-me-down Dreamcast bundled with Adventure and Adventure 2.

My older brother had a genesis and Sonic 2 when I was little, I'll never forget how terrified I was when the pink water rose in Chemical Plant Zone.

Sonic 1 when I was in a hospital in 2000.

All I remember is myself constantly dying on Green Hill Act 3, lol

My first Sonic game I played was Sonic 2 on the Sonic Mega Collection my cousin had.I remember that I couldn't get past Chemical Plant Act 2.I also remember when I played Sonic 1 after and I was wondering why I couldn't spindash. XD

My first was heroes. I actually wanted to get a Football game but it didn't work so I had to change it and the only game I liked was heroes so I bought it ( I even thought it was a 2D game like the old sonic games since I played a little fan game on the net which was in 2D)
That was in 2006.

Sonic 1 was my first, around '97-'98. My cousin brought his Sega Genesis over to my grandparents and he had that game. It happened to be my first game I ever played, actually.

And what's with all the hate for Sonic Heroes? I actually enjoyed it.

Sonic 1 around the time it was released. My uncle, my cousins and me played it along with some other genesis games like golden axe, strees of rage, ghouls n ghosts (which was so hard that we never beat even the first stage) and some really basic amiga games like pong and a first version of bubble dragon (without bubbles and without dragons). Around 1995 I got my own genesis and from then bought pretty much every sonic game released for it.

my first Sonic game was adventure when my auntie downloaded it onto a disk for my pc and when i played it, i could never get off it. ;D

First Game Ever Owned: Sonic Heroes.

First game ever wanted: Sonic Adventure.

First Time ever seeing sonic: Got no clue.

Anyway, I had a PS1. No Saturn/Dreamcast = no sonic.

Finally got an Xbox. Got Sonic Heroes.
^And I've always defended that game ever since.
I'ts nostalgia talking, not control.

The less I bring up about me liking Shadow The Hedgehog, the better. :/
