Hi, im sorry to join this forum whit a question and im also sorry if this has been asked but in the last 2 days i tryed all the search terms that came into my mind to find anything relate to this problem and i just couldnt find anything, so my problem is: i play sonic blitz for a while (any and every engine, tryed all of them) and after a time the whole world becomes 100% black and i cant do anything at all, it doesent matter what stage i use, what engine, what character or anything, also the time from before it gets black is variable, sometimes it becomes after 1min and sometimes after 10min, and sometimes after 1h, and it also doesent matter if i do anything or just stand in place, my ps is preety good so i have aboslutely no ideea what the problem may be, last time i runned sonic blitz ok i was haveing windows vista and now i have win7, may that be the problem, if you have any idea please help me, thanks

This happened to me LOADS last year, but for some reason it's decided to fix itself now. It usually happened whenever I hit a spring or dash pad.
I wonder what the cause is...

I just saw my video driver was outdated, so i updated it, will reply back if the problem happens even after, hope not, i really love blitz sonic......
EDIT1: well that seemd to be it, lol, sorry for being so stupid to forget to update my video driver, i have no ideea how thats related to it, but it happens a lot of times to me to not be able to play some games/get crashes from some games because i forget to update the video driver, yah, sorry for creating a thread that maybe i shouldnt have created.....i feel so stupid now, especially its not the first time i create a thread on a forum just to ask why a game doesent work propperly when i forget to update my driver........
EDIT2: well.......maybe not, just started to play a stage from start to end and at the verry middle i once again got it black, so yah, if anyone has ideeas pleas help me......happy i didnt create a useless thread this time, lol....
EDIT3: ok, now i managed to make it not get black, but i cant finish levels now, if i touch the goal ring it just crashes the game

The black screen crash is most likely caused by the camera detaching from the player at low framerates (< 10 FPS) or even just the graphics card being outdated or of bad quality, such as the Intel Integrated Shitset. Sometimes it's just some easy fix that could be anywhere on the computer.
Goal ring? BlitzSonic doesn't have a goal ring object. Are you talking about a mod?

EDIT3: ok, now i managed to make it not get black, but i cant finish levels now, if i touch the goal ring it just crashes the game In some engines it plays SA2 Goal music and then just closes. Such as...Blitz Sonic Ultra. |

Why do people insist on almost forcing someone to get a new computer? There's this little thing called money, y'know. Most of us here don't have a job and get little or no money for allowance. I'm starting to save up for a PC right now and it's gonna take me at least a year and a half to get an -alright- one.
