well all you need to do is open the package and export as fbx or whatever since it works for you

When aren't you logged on ,LOL! Like I said, I'd like to help but can't. A loop is a very simple task but what if you need another stage model? Chances are you do. I'm pretty good at modeling as my name suggests (I am boss at character modeling) but I'm not really feeling the mood to do much work. Honestly, I don't mean to bring you down but you NEED to learn how to model before making a game. You may have coding down but what about modelling, rigging, and animation? Follow the link I gave you earlier. (If you can't buy it torrent it )

It teaches you that. But let me tell you, it wil probably be the most boring 14 hrs of your life. If you're not up for it then screw it. Oh, and just how well can you code? If you can code pretty well then it's okay to get someone else do that stuff for you.

every time i flip up this tab you have something new I mean a nother 3d modeler and animator. But the down side to this is that if you cant model or animate there are HUGE limitations on what you can do. I learned coding to modeling to animation without anyone's help. But then again you are a somewhat young member here. Sorry, but you kind of showed up for help when BSC2 is going and everyone is working on their own stuff. Your on your own but don't let that bring you down. You now a lot for your age and just keep getting better til you've got it. Everyone starts from somewhere and you have a godd start. Issue is is that no one will help you since everybody in blitzsonic has grown up to around where they are getting into college and the GDK community is the same people from blitz sonic.

It's fine to ask but I'm just saying not many people are around here willing to help. Whoever told you to come to this forum for help was wrong. BTW, I suggest quiting the fangame thing and judt make a custom engine. That would be improving what your good at and there aren't many custom GDK engines around. Only other person working on a GDK engine is the famous TwilightZoney. Much less work, much better results.

i'm still working on my fan game i had it planned since i was 9 and was waiting till i could make video games to make it,my original plan was to use sonic generations but the game doesn't work on my pc so i chose sonic gdk and planned to modify it to be similar to generations with an adventure mix, like spindashing,i've gone far in my game i don't want to quit here it's pretty much like quitting my life dream, and i also spent my entire summer working on it,i don't want that to go to waste, but i'm gonna take what you said and later make it open source like 2 years after my game is finished

Ya, but I stopped doing Blitz Sonic stuff a year ago and started slobbering over GDK. There really should be a forum for GDK though it's not as big. I have some incomplete Blitz Sonic stages like Angel Island and Hydrocity Zone but I'm not really in the mood to finish them... So, maybe...

idon't want to just make levels for sonic gdk i want to be more original like have a story line,i had this game planned for a LONG time i came up with it when i was 9 if i quit i would've wasted 4 or 5 years of planning, blitz sonic is different then sonic gdk, blitz sonic doesn't have level streaming, while sonic gdk can be more custom made

I was talking to tailsfanblitz but you replied at the same time ^^" ANNYYYWWAAAAYYYY, I think I did my part and already told you what you need to do to finish the game. So there's no use repeating stuff. Upload progress on your youtube account so we can all see you from "LOL, that's a fangame?" to "OMG SUPER EPICKNESS I WANT TO BE DAT AWESOME!!!" So, ya, bai! It might take time but whatevs. Like I said you have coding down, and that's good since that's the heart of the engine but it is just as important as making a stage. Don't worry about anims yet, you'll stumble upon that sooner or later. You'll find more people to help you in blitz than GDK. GDK is for people who already graduated from blitz sonic and have been faced with blitz sonic's limitations. Sorry, but learn blitz sonic before GDK. PS: Coding is surprisingly tougher in my opinion in blitz than GDK. Use blitz sonic to learn modelling and animations.
