There are so much awesome things in Sonic games whether it's the game play, the story elements, the graphics, the characters, etc.(Also you can only pick 2 things you like the most) ;D
So what's your favorite part you like the most about Sonic games?
I'd say what I like about Sonic games the most is the game play and the overall design of the characters.

The gameplay and the characters. I love how the characters are related to each other, it just seems natural with their designs and personalities.
I've always loved Sonic gameplay, every game is generally unique (Yes, even Generations.) and I believe that is something that is rare in a game series.

Now although I have high disagreements on Sonic as of late, there are still two very important elements that brings me back for more 1. Level Design/Platforming Sonic has always been a platformer, there is no denying it, but I always loved how the levels looked in Sonic, especially Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes. They had a very detailed concept and design while still staying true to the platforming 2. Music Sonic Team never disappoints in having the right artist to create music for them, from the original Sonic series on the Genesis we had Michael Jackson, who may I remind you is possibly a music god, and in the early years of 3D sonic, Crush 40... the music is original, catchy, and unique.

It's not a first person shooter. That's already respect. Recently, only the 2D games are of interest to me. They are simple, and don't have stupid plots anymore. Yes, I'm talking about Episode 1, Episode 2 wasn't that good.

I enjoy the architectural design, sometimes music. I despise the actual level design, the current engine's movement system, Boost, having to not boost to actually enjoy a game that was made entirely FOR using this feature, and the fact that I can't jump on the rare occasion of the times when Sonic Generations for PC is lagging. I can say I enjoy almost every game that came out before Sonic Heroes.

I love the music that's in them, and some of the stages.
But most of all, I just like the general gameplay.

Yes, but the frame for the game was to blast through levels. If I was actually trying to play the game for the way they wanted it to be played, I would only focus on the level, not the design of the level. They need to make it a way so you can focus on the scenery while not trying to fuck up when playing

I'd like to see a Sonic game with the speed toned down just a little. A chance to enjoy an interactive world. People have rated some Sonic games lowly, which I can agree with, but for the wrong reasons.

Sonic Team has been taking Sonic in the path to Fuck knows Where. They tried making a "Sonic Adventure" type game with 06, which was a total fuck up, Unleashed was okay because it was something new, but wasn't like the Sonic Adventure Series which is what Sonic Team had hoped for. But when they made Colours it was just another Unleashed, same with Generations. I don't think Sonic Team understands what the community means when we say "Make something new". Their definition of "new" it seems, is just another adaptation of Unleashed. At least back in the day when they made games like Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes, they were not the same at all, and were GOOD. I don't think Sonic Team and Sega will learn anytime soon, 4 years of adaptations of Sonic Unleashed, not good.

I like sonic games because of the sense of speed. (Minus labyrinth lol)
I like mario, and cannot deny the quality of his games, but sonic just pwns him.
Anyway, is it safe to say the "I don't have graphics card" quote is a meme now?
