I don't like any of the US tracks. A lot of stuff was left out when compared to the original.

It's really up to what you like. Personally I (And stereotypically) like the JPN version most.
I don't think ALL tracks are surperior, but I like more in the JPN than the US.
As I said, it's your opinion.

Well it's mainly because a comment of the tidal tempest us theme said that the song was better then the "shitty" collision chaos themes

It rests simply on your opinion and what you feel is the "more appropriate" type of music when playing. I personally like the Jpn version due to its uniqueness. There aren't that many, but still some of the US tracks that I enjoy, such as the Tidal Tempest Present. Again, all of it rests on peoples opinions of their music choice to the game
