Here ya go. I appologize for the missing animations, but hey, not my animations. DO NOT give me credit for this. Give all credit to WPS (wantaplaystation). Also, your gonna have to rename "sonic" to "brawlsonic" for this to work. Don't forget to do the same when you open the engine.

No, it's the xml coding. For the idle, I put 0 to 224, (the idle frames) but the idle animation still glitches in game.

I'm no especialist, but the code INGAME is the one shown on the chracter.xml. I guess the character.xml is just to guide the engine to find the animations. you can't change their place.
