Remeber the fraise, "Even in death I can still kill you."? Well today this glitch happen to me though I didn't record it but, in stardust speedway when metal sonic had one hit left, I jumped to doge an attack but both him and I got hit and some how I survived and still beat Metal sonic with an "S" Rank.

Sonic Generations can sometimes be like that, I tried playing City Escape and got hit once, and made a good time, but got a perfect bonus S Rank, then again, I'm not sure what caused this, it's a mystery! CALL SCOOBY DOO! AND FIND JOHNNY BRAVO ON A STREET TO FIND THIS OUT!

S-ranks are if you don't die, not if you don't take any damage.

Shouldn't that be "phrase", unless it's like "colo r" and has multiple ways of spelling?

I like fraises, but I dislike misspelled phrases.

I hate when people misspell words. Especially if it's nothing like the real spelling, but sounds the same (not homophone since the misspelled isn't a word). Only unless the have a legitimate reason why (not because they didn't know since the words are automatically notified if spelled wrong). But no more about spelling; on with le glitches!

S-ranks are if you don't die, not if you don't take any damage. ^Trying to put emphasis on what he said. To explain: You can't get an S Rank only if you DIE in that stage and don't manually restart [pause+restart] It's not a glitch, it's the system.

In CSA, if you jump while running down the building as classic Sonic during the big chase thingy, you get stuck against the mall's walls.

The ranking system also has to do with your performance, not just if you die or not... in order to get an S Rank, you have to play through it perfectly, and get a decent time... it's like that in every sonic game that has a ranking system with Letters

Well it differs in the 3DS version because it had a similar point system like in sonic colors. I could get a decent time on mushroom hill zone modern, didn't die or take damage but I got an "A" rank. To me it feel like the handheald version is harder but it's all side scroller except for the grind porsion before the goal ring in mushroom hill zone, the killer whale in emerald coast and the three grind rails near the end of tropical resort. But in the PS360 version its all about your time, rings and if you died or not.

Again, I don't know how they made the performance rank system... what ever.
