Time Eater

I was curious because I was watching Sonic Generations on youtube and the guy had an easy time with Modern Sonic. But when I played, it was easy with Classic sonic. The verson of the game are the same (PS3/360).

Well, the PS360 votes are irrelivant. You cant attack the time eater as classic. Only Modern.

yes you can. It's just harder I guess. They can both boost, but time eater gives less chances to hit/its harder when in 2d mode.

Basically, to get the achievement of not getting hit. Stay in Modern the whole time and switch to Classic to dodge attacks.

There's also other achievements like when yo clear sky santuary without falling and dying as classic sonic or when you clear half as well as all the missions or if you talk to all of sonic's friends or when a red ring is found in a shortcut in a stage(Green Hill Zone&Speed Highway are two of them). Also has anyone beaten shadow without him getting an energy core at all on there first try before?

Classic sonic is also how I also beat time eater. Modern sonic made me lose lives, but classic sonic didn't.

Also time eater on the 3DS versions is harder. It turns out that with classic sonic has to doge homming shots, green lasers and a giant purple blast. Modern sonic has to doge incoming shots and doge the hands so you don't get crushed.
