Hey Guys, remember WAYYYY back on youtube I was talking about my Sonic CD Engine? Well theses days I've working on it and turned it into Sonic CD Genetations: www.facebook.com/pages/Sonic-CD-Generations/116462945101944?sk=infoEDIT #1: I am now starting to find people & friends that wants to help out. I myself will do more than voice Sonic and create sites for the game. I'll look for resources and modify models and try rigging. Here are some open jobs: Sound Effects for Modern Chaaracters & Dreamcast Era Sonic Coder Stage Creater Animater Tester Gameplay Recorder Music remixer EDIT #2: So We got some people helping on this project Stage Creater: wantaplaystation Animator: Paper Luigi & Me Sound Effect Editor:now Music Editor/Remixer: Coder/Engine: Model Editor: Me The characters done so far are: Classic Sonic - 1% COMPLETE Modern Sonic - COMPLETE Modern Shadow - 50% COMPLETE Classic Shadow - 0% COMPLETE Modern Tails - 0% COMPLETE Classic Tails - 0% COMPLETE Modern Amy - COMPLETE Classic Amy - 99.5% COMPLETE Bad Guys: Eggman - 0% COMPLETE Robotnik - 0% COMPLETE Modern Metal-Sonic -1% COMPLETE Classic Metal-Sonic - 1% COMPLETE |

Yea. Like I said before, My computure broke so I can't di anywork and I lost everything. I was using the Generations models to.

Let me just interject and give my 2-cents.
Frankly, the fact that you're using other people's engines means that it's not exactly a "game". Sure, you can customize it and all, but important parts that can be extremely important to the overall essence to the game is lost because the engine simply cannot be edited to fit the needs.
tl;dr
Find a willing coder, or learn to code yourselves and make your own customizable engine that suits your needs. However, let me warn you that this part will show whether or not you are 100% dedicated to it.

Don't mix a great game and a mediocre game together. Make your own.
Also, why are you using other peoples' stuff for this? Don't you know how to at least edit code?

Don't mix a great game and a mediocre game together. Make your own. Also, why are you using other peoples' stuff for this? Don't you know how to at least edit code? No, I dont. I've tried and had no luck. You know. I guess i've shouldn't have tried to mix games together, I would turn into a FAIL. I just go look up tutorials on how to code Blitz3D or something. :/ I promise i'll give it my 100% that I will learn how to create my very own game engine! Arrow, your work inspired me to try & bring back this old CD Engine. But I want a vote from you guys on the title: Sonic CD Generations, or Sonic CD Engine? |

That sounds kinda sucky. Like "Hey, look at my engine." The coder should be the one to get the main credit. |
