I finally got Grass Mesh loading by generating it on top of meshes when you turn it on in the xml.
example: loading a mesh and setting up the collision and visibility there is now a grassgen=0 or 1 turning it on and off. And now has wind physics. You can also set the radius with it to (working on that) so you can set how far apart they should go and spread out. smaller radius more grass there will be.
New sound effects for ambient sounds and new effects in general. Now have Waterfall and better water particle splashing. Working on water reflection and refraction in the future.
Adding more animations to add more detail into this baby, this will be much better then Sonic GDK soon (surprising eh?) I just need to get 2d to 3d and junk to work much nicer.
But you can bet your ass this will be better then any other Sonic engine out there most likely. ( I know I'm getting over my head, but I'm proud.)
3d Model Menus, and hub world will be put into the engine as well.
I'm gonna put up a video sometime to show this stuff off. I'm gonna blow your mind.

Oh, and head up to you animators and stuff. The next release supports custom models and editing with things. I hope you enjoy doing over 100 animations for a model. And over 15 for most Enemies.

TZ, do you think it's possible for the music to change when reaching a certain speed like it does in Generations?
I've always wondered how something like that would work.

I always thought that each song would play simultaneously, but one was loud, and the other was muted. Then, once boost was activated, the boost track would be at max volume, while the original track would either lower, or mute.

That's what I figured, however would this engine be able to do such a thing though? Seems like a nice feature.
