Hi, I have been working on a couple of stages for this new fan game called Sonic World, its a new Blitz Sonic game that was released not long ago, I followed the Xml directions exactly to see if anything was incorrect, here is a screenshot of one of the stages I finished up.

I made the stage in sketchup first thing, then I exported it to blender as a .dae file then I exported it as .b3d file and made the appropriate folders for the stage, I can send a screenshot of the xml that this game uses, it is a new game made by Ozcrash, it only has been out for several months at the most, what confuses me is that I can make stages for other blitz sonic games but this on is on me, the xml is what I'm needing help with.

Everything in that XML File should be clear moon = Where do you want the Moon to be in your Stage ? Sun = Where do you want the Sun to be in your Stage ? Wind = Where do you want the Wind to be in your Stage ? ...etc And first 3 Lines are used for music played for each team ..... There's really nothing hard to do with it ... for instance when i decided to Port Planet Wisp to Sonic World Engine i just used a XML File from another Stage and kept the same Objects Positions ....

Well what confuses me that I can place stages from older games easily, but I am making my first stage for this game, but it loads about to 80% then throws me the familiar Memory Access Violation and Iv'e examined the xml and found nothing wrong.

Here is one stage that I am working on, its in the form of my last name, this is a screenshot from blender 2.57 and I have the .B3D plugin installed on it, I may need to link the whole stage with the textures and skydome along with the XML for testing.

memory access violation usually means the game is looking for a file and isn't finding it. Are you sure it's named Stage.b3d and is located in the Stage folder? maybe change it to 01.b3d in both file name and the xml.

I renamed the b3d file to 01.b3d and still nothing happens, the stage won't load, I have created a stage named Mint Walkway, its a red, green and blue striped themed stage that has circular platforms, have the link for it here, I hope I'm not being to bothersome, but here is the link to it, this stage worked in an old engine I still have called Sonic Dimensions, but can't still seem to get to work, here is the link to it.http://www.4shared.com/zip/QhXat5niba/Mint_Walkway.html

Well what confuses me that I can place stages from older games easily, but I am making my first stage for this game, but it loads about to 80% then throws me the familiar Memory Access Violation and Iv'e examined the xml and found nothing wrong. Download xml notepad and edit the xml with it, then see if it finds any errors. Remember the naming conventions of the xml are very strict, meaning if you are missing/have any extra characters you get a memory access violation error. Ok I Found 1 problem so far, the skydome folder is named Sky Dome, not skydome. The folder name has to match the name in the xml, spaces and characters (i.e 4#d_+) included, so in the xml it must read <skydome>Sky Dome/Sky.b3d</skydome> if you don't change the folder name. XML notepad didn't find any issues however, the stage is not loading the model and the textures. I decided to check it in Fragmotion and my suspicions were correct your plugin is faulty or you didn't export/import correctly. If you can't figure things out I've got the method I use below. 1. Use this plugin for sketchup and export as .x www.scriptspot.com/sketchup/scripts/zbylsxexporter2. Open the stage in fragmotion as .x by activating the trial period (it only last a week, but you can activate it forever). 3. Mirror all X axis 4. Export as .b3d Note this method will take sketchup longer to export, but the collision is 100% perfect with very few errors.

I managed to get one stage I made to work, but its textureless and I can't move around in debug mode to place the objects, but I'll try the method mentioned above.

Hi, I finally figured it out, I made 3 stages so far now, here is one inspired by a famous 1939 movie, but made to look like a Sonic Stage.
