I've started work on remaking Marble Zone act 1 in 3D for Blitz Sonic Ultra 3. The level design will be pretty close to the original, only tweaked with 3D platforming and slightly more open areas. The walls of the underground section will be almost like the walls of a hallway, making it feel more like a ruin or castle than the original did. All I have is the first platform, but I figured I should show off my work so far. All textures are custom. What do you think of this idea?

Those textures, dat mesh. So much awesome. Thank you ^.^ when this is released or if released thats a classic stage for my sonic Dude, I've literally just started work on this stage. I'm not gonna know when it'll be released yet. Also, do you mean you're gonna be using it in your fangame, or just playing it? Because I think it would be a better idea to ask if you could use someone's stage before you go and put it in your own stage pack.

Progress is going pretty good. Still indecisive about whether I'm doing any sort of scenery or not. I think the whole thing's gonna be on top of some type of lava-fall, with the lava under the platforms going off the side of the cliff. Shame I can't make it glow or move, or something. Also, I'm having some trouble with the Alpha in BSU 3, for the grass. It's just turning out with a black background, no matter what. I've tried making the texture itself have an alpha channel, I've put the opacity map I use in Max into FragMOTION, nothing really works. Help would be appreciated.

You have to set certain texture/material flags in FragMotion if I remember correctly. I just don't remember which ones.

How exactly do you get to flags? I've opened the b3d, clicked a material and I can't find flags anywhere. EDIT: Found 'em. xD

make a emty .b3d file and import the other file, save it as .ugh and anow you have the flags. you can make it moving with engines that have animmeshes.
