what does it mean when your computer beeps and suddenly turns off?
I was on my desktop background, not connected to the internet, just a mouse and a laptop fan connected in the usb port, then this weird high pitched beeping started. It beeped every second or so and then after 10 beeps (give or take) it turns off.
It was my laptop. It's temperature was around 38 degrees celsius at its cores, the room was 28 degrees celsius, the was an electric fan right toward where the core is and a laptop fan right under it. it was plugged in a 220v socket, the adapter was 1 meter away and gives off 110v of electricity to my laptop (the recommended as stated by the manual)
anyway, please give advise

OK, I would remove the battery and power cord from the laptop, so there is not any power going to the device. Now when you removed all sources of power, press and hold down your laptops power button for 1 minute, this will re-set your cmos.( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMOS) How old is this laptop? What O.S does it have on it? And the company who made it, model number?
