Maybe you could just do it like in BSU3, where you press the right mouse button to increase your speed on the rails [but it's a board this time, so whatever]

Hmm, lets see
1. The past three years has been nothing but some the same old shit (Not complaining but there should be more variety than just that)
2. To advance the story and consequently unlock more levels, you're forced to do a ton of usually shitty sonic mini games. Most of them are really bad. Like, I'd rather spoon my eyes out than do them. But to be honest, some are pretty good too, but not much. There is a big choice of what you can complete so it's not terribly bad, but the fact that completionists need to do boring mindless stuff for probably not very spectacular rewards annoys me
3. There is a sonic upgrade system, it's like a really watered down talent system and it doesn't really feel at home in the sonic universe. Now granted there are some nice and interesting abilities, they are not all available to you at the beginning of the game and the game does a really crappy job of telling you how to unlock more.
4. Getting an S Rank is easy as fuck, at least in Unleashed you had to try to perfect how you play to get an S rank. Most of the levels I got an S rank on the first try, which leads me to my next point
5. The Levels in the game are too easy, hardly worth a "challenge", again, Unleashed was much more strict on this and I found it harder to get a high rank as I progressed through the game.
6. The PC controls are an absolute monstrosity, thus you have to invest in a wired Xbox 360 controller in order to play the game smoothly without having to deal with controls that aren't even customizeable.
Now this doesn't mean I think the game is absolute shit, I just believe it has some flaws that I think are major.

You are the worst type of Sonic fan around.
When someone doesn't like a game because it has legitimate flaws, it doesn't mean they're not a true Sonic fan. Your idea of a true fan of the franchise seems to be someone who is completely blind to absolutely any flaws at all, and thinks a certain game or every game is perfect.
It's almost as if people aren't allowed opinions or something.

Seriously, what the fuck. I agree, you are the worst type of Sonic fan if for 1) you take it that seriously and 2) you overlook any flaws in a game. Generations was a good Sonic game, I will admit. It was a step in the right direction from Sega. But it was flawed as hell.
